No posing, a little gentle encouragement and direction, but mostly observation, conversation and the occasional sound of a shutter. Natural smiles, meaningful interactions and otherwise unseen moments. These are the core elements of  documentary style photoshoots. If the thought of saying ‘cheese’ through gritted teeth into a camera makes you cringe then we will definitely get along! I prefer to capture real connections. Sometimes it means simply standing back and observing, only taking photos when the magical moments appear (which they always do when given the space!).
