I’ve been really lucky to get some bookings lately that have taken me a little further afield, out into different parts of The Cotswolds. In late September I was extremely lucky to be booked for a 60th birthday celebration with the extended Barber family, who had hired the incredible The White House for the weekend. The weather was incredible, and the location was perfect for a relaxed, lifestyle shoot incorporating family members of all ages.
With such a large group my aim was to get a few photos of every family member on their own or with close relatives, and then as many natural, candid shots as possible to capture the atmosphere of the day.
I had a fantastic time with this brilliant family, I really hope that when I turn 60 I can have such a warm, loving family around me (and hopefully many gorgeous grandchildren too!). On days like that I really realise how important and precious family is, and also how important it is to make sure we do take photos of ourselves with our families!
Enough rambling, I’ve shared a few of my favourite photos from the day below. Thanks so much for having me, Barber family.
